Israel's Enemies Within

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you.’” Psalm 122:6

But How Do We Know What To Pray For?

Three thousand years ago, King David, instructed all true worshipers to pray for the peace and security of Israel. Jerusalem in Hebrew means “inheritance of peace,” but for most of its history has been at the center of conflict. To pray more effectively for Jerusalem’s peace we must know her new enemies, yet few outside Israel understand the internal workings of this new state.

What Sets This Book Apart?

The author’s life experience sets him apart from many who write about Israel.  He writes as someone who is a native-born Israeli.  He was born and grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel, a thriving, modern, and beautiful city on the shores of the Mediterranean. Growing up in Israel was an exciting adventure and laid an enduring foundation for him loving this land and its people.  It also gave him the privilege of serving in the Israeli military, the I.D.F., in a combat unit for three years. So he understands the security issues Israel faces firsthand.
